The first call

  1. Send X-API-Key on every /v1 request. Missing or invalid returns 401. A key without api:access returns 403.
  2. Hit GET /v1/items for a list, or GET /v1/items/{gameId} for one item.
  3. Keep the production key off the public bundle. Proxy it. NeverVITE_API_KEY in the browser.
